“Race” to Angel Island

In what was a very typical summer day for SF bay we went from sunny and calm on the way to the Bay Bridge to instant wind as we entered the slot and raced to Angel island for another respite drifting behind the island for lunch. We fired up the grill and Jen treated us all to an amazing cookout.

Soon it was time to head back and again the second we came out from behind Angel Island we were hit with 23 knots and rolling seas all the way to Treasure Island.

A much more comfortable leg from there to Brisbane was a great way to end the day!

Thanks all for joining!!
